Manufacturing Challenges
Material Sourcing
Large forgings require specialized steel mills with heavy hammer capacity. SongHai partners with certified mills for plates up to 500mm thickness.
Machining Capability
CNC vertical lathes with 5-meter capacity ensure dimensional accuracy for large flanges. Surface finish Ra 3.2 or better on sealing faces.
Heat Treatment
In-house furnace handles solution annealing for stainless steel flanges up to 3 meters diameter.
Quality Testing
- Ultrasonic testing (UT) per ASTM A388
- Magnetic particle testing (MT) per ASTM E709
- Dimensional inspection with CMM
